This website is not funded by the Council or the Ratepayers of Lithgow, but by dedicated volunteers. The Lithgow Tourism Information Website first went online with a test run in October 1995, and was launched on the 1st February 1996, and was at that time endorsed by the Greater Lithgow Tourism Association Inc. This was the first comprehensive website to promote Lithgow and surrounding areas in conjunction with LiSP on the Internet in Australia. This website has been designed and is maintained by Debweb on a voluntary basis since 1995.

Ozeres Services now provides online accommodation booking integration with BookLithgow.com. We are able to organise domain name registration, web hosting and web design for tourism operators at a very economical rate.

Whilst we endeavour to list all attractions or accommodation known to us in the Lithgow area, Advertisers have the opportunity of additional marketing and promotion for their business by enhanced listings or their own website for a very economical annual fee.
