Scenic Hill Lookout:
Site of EX-POW monument. 5 minutes drive from town.
- A great place to stop for a cuppa.
- Monument to the doctors and nurses who tendered to the ex-pow’s
- It has easy access.

Hassans Walls Lookout:
10 minutes drive from town.
- Roads are of fair quality.
- Outstanding views of Hartley Valley.

Bracey Lookout:
10 minutes drive from town
- On the same road as Hassans Walls.
- Panoramic view of Lithgow.
Suggested rating 7 out of 10.
Wolgan Gap:
30 minutes drive from town.
- Not signposted as a Lookout however highly recommended as a place to stop for views of the Wolgan Valley.
Suggested rating 8 out of 10.
Pearsons Lookout – Mudgee Road.
40 minutes drive from town.
- Although this is an extended drive it is a view that is unsurpassed in the area, overlooking the Capertee Valley and Pantony’s Crown.

Lithgow’s Unsigned Emergency Airstrip (top of scenic hill)
- This is not signposted as a lookout although there is a spectacular views from the Bell end of airstrip out over the Grose Valley.
